Start your Wednesday mornings on the trail! This CS Outdoor Adventure Hiking Club takes students to Sabino Canyon each week for refreshing hikes surrounded by desert scenery, flowing creeks, and mountain views. Students will build endurance, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for the outdoors while hiking with friends in a supportive, encouraging environment. Each hike focuses on safe trail skills, awareness of the Sonoran Desert, and enjoying time outside before the school day begins. No prior hiking experience is needed—just comfortable shoes, water, and a sense of adventure. A detailed packing list will be emailed out before the start of class. We will return to campus by 9:15am each week, ensuring students are back at school on time and ready for the day.

Welcome to Improvolution—the ultimate improv class where laughter and creativity take center stage! Students will think on their feet, sharpen their wit, and dive into the fun world of improvisational comedy. Through games, scenes, and group exercises, they’ll build confidence, collaborate with classmates, and create unforgettable moments on stage.

The Inside OUT Theater is an interactive drama class that teaches the fundamentals of theater as well as backstage help. As a class we will learn basic acting tools such as projection, line memorization, and character development. As well as backstage help like set design, prop making, costume building and light/sound cues. After our 8 week course, the students will be able to proudly perform for their families. Showing off their hard work, communication skills and teamwork. All while teaching the ins and outs of theater!

You'll learn essential tools and techniques to transform images and create stunning visuals. Whether you're new to Photoshop or looking to enhance your skills, this class offers hands-on experience that can stand alone or complement Mr. Jess’ Photography course, allowing you to post-process your own images like a pro! Computers are provided during class (no Wifi access). To save your work, please bring a flash drive, SD card, or similar device with at least 32GB of storage.

Rockets are back! Build and launch your own classic Estes model rocket with guidance from Mr. Bob of Why Things Fly. Students will enjoy multiple launches throughout the session while learning the fundamentals of model rocketry. A fun, hands-on introduction to an exciting hobby! Space is limited.
