Manzanita Elementary SchoolC.A.R.E. ProgramC.A.R.E. (stands for Children’s Activity and Recreational Environment) is the CFSD before and after school child care program offered at each of our four elementary schools to enrolled students. Our goal is to provide a safe environment where your child can enjoy a broad range of planned activities with their friends. Some of these activities include arts, crafts, cooking, sports, quiet and active games, community service projects, as well as time to do homework. Hours: 7am - 8am After School: 5:30pmFull Day CARE on non-school days: 7am - 5pm * Requires a separate contract, complete by enrolling in the Breaks - Full Day CARE. Rate: $7 per hour Please schedule ahead of time Scheduling & Rates ●Scheduling request must be submitted through the Community Portal (cfsd16.arux.app) by Sunday prior to the week of service. ●Drop-Ins: Not permitted without prior approval from the Main CARE Office at 520-209-7548 and will incur a $25 fee per occurrence. ●Late Sign-Up: During the current week of CARE, will incur a $25 late fee per account per week. Staffing is determined by student attendance. ●Late Add On: During the current week of CARE, must already have at least one day previously scheduled for the current week, will incur $10 fee per occurrence. ●Absence / Removing Scheduled Day: $7.00 per day, (1-hour minimum) for any scheduled day of CARE that is not used. ●$3/minute after 5:30 PM (5:00 PM on full days). ●Full Day C.A.R.E. will incur a minimum of 4 service hours for each day scheduled regardless of pick up time. Changes require 24-hour notice. ●Balance 6 Days Past Due: $25 fee per invoice. ●Returned Checks/Insufficient Funds: $25 fee. ●Invoicing will occur weekly for the previous week's CARE and applicable fees.
